Pandimonium

People cry and people die and everyday we do nothing
People shout and they call out but no one hears their pain
Shots ring heavy, loud and steady, no one stops them
Sirens blare and we just stare in awe
In this pandemonium
How can we breathe,
With all the chaos, all the pain,
All the sorrow and the shame
We just try to get on by and live on.
Children hurt thrown in the dirt and every time we walk on by
People starve though they work hard and we won't raise their wage
Crimes Committed all aquitted, paid with millions
Judges bribed another debt is paid
In this pandemonium
How can we breathe,
With all the chaos, all the pain,
All the sorrow and the shame
We just try to get on by and live on.
What can we say, what can we do
When everything around us is broken and abused
Turn the other cheek, try not to see
But it won't get better 'till someone like me
Can see the pandemonium
Pandemonium
What can we do?
